Recording services

In downtown Johnson City Tennessee, VCV Studio offers a professional recording experience with modern and vintage equipment and an experienced staff dedicated to bringing your creative vision to life.

We handle projects of any genre and scale, whether you’re recording a full album, a single track, or creating videos, photos, or podcast content.

Recording studio session

Record your full band, vocals, instrumentals, or overdubs in our multi-room tracking studio.

• Single room: $75 per hour
• Full facility: $100 per hour or $499 for 8-hour day

Singer/rapper package

Bring your own pre-made beats or backing track. Mixing and mastering included. 2 hour session. $225 per song

Music production

Take your song idea to the next level with professional arrangement and creative production from one of our producers. Our team is experienced in hip-hop, pop, rock, and folk. $75 per hour

Mixing & post production

Prices are based on the complexity of your project.

• $100 per track up to 5 stems
• $150 per track up to 15 stems
• $175 per track up to 20 stems
• More than 20 stems: Price determined per project

A “stem” is an individual mono/stereo audio track such as bass or vocal.

Services start at $120

• [SP] Single (1–2 songs): $120 per song
• [EP] Extended play (3–8 songs): 20% discount

Additional services

Services start at $30

• [DJMIX] DJ mix mastering: $175 per mix up to 2 hours
• [DJMIXTRA] DJ mix mastering: $225 per mix up to 2 hours
• [ARS] Analog recording / ripping services: $30 per vinyl / $50 per tape
• [ACR] Audio cleanup / restoration: $60 per hour of audio ($30 minimum)
